...Happy Blizzard 2010!!!!
{According to kstp.com} By the numbers: Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport picked up 17.1" of snow. {2010} (the year Annabelle and Lincoln were born!) That's the 5th biggest official snow total on record, and it's also the most snow in a storm since the Halloween Blizzard of 1991. (the year James was born!) We were only 3-tenths of an inch away from tying the number 4 spot: January 21-22, 1982. (the year i was born!)
How we spent BLIZZARD 2010 :
- Jake and Lola went down to Rochester this weekend to help Jake's brother Ryan with his snowplow business. They were STRANDED in Roch.
- I worked ALL weekend at the View, and was STRANDED in uptown.
- Auntie Abby and Lola kept themselves busy while the boys cleared snow by doing HOLIDAY Arts & Crafts
- I kept myself busy (&warm), while off the clock, by drinking lots of RED WINE
- Jake came to pick me up from work FINALLY on sunday and got STUCK on unplowed side streets (a half hour trip turned into 2 hours!!)
- We all made it home sunday night. So WONDERFUL to be {HOME sweet HOME!!}
